Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. No date on the can that I can see.
Appearance: pale golden-yellow hue with plenty of haze and a thick cap of frothy ivory foam that leaves a bit of chunky lace on the glass.
Smell: sweet aroma with a lovely, somewhat earthy combination of passionfruit and guava and orange peel. Nicely balanced; I quite like it.
Taste: there's a little bit more zing to the flavor than the aroma; maybe a little bit of hop burn but I think it's mostly just the beer's natural acidity lending a nice juiciness to the fruit aromas. Tropical and just a little bit zesty -- right up my alley.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: just a really solid hazy IPA. I was a little bit worried when there was no date on the can, but I needn't have been!
