Had on tap at the brewery/store
On arrival a nice fine just barely off white head was present that receded to a 1cm cap. Nice lacing is left and the body is a murky light brown amber with fine active carbonation.
Aroma is clean and a touch malty with some spicy hop aroma lingering in the back. Some yeast aroma comes through.
Taste is sweet, malty an nutty with some hints of caramel and toffee. Super clean with a nice balance of noble and some American hop flavor as well. Slightly bitter for a crisp bready balanced finish.
Feel is full bodied but drinkable and crisp verging on refreshing. This is one of the better examples of the style I've tried out honestly, especially a craft brew.
Overall super tasty slightly creative twist on the style and not too heavy. Crisp and refreshing but carries all the malty bready slightly sweet notes the style should have.
