Had on tap at the brewery
On arrival a fine white 1 finger head is present on a body that is a yellow gold with plenty of lazy carbonation. Head recedes to a ring around the glass.
3.25
Aroma is very nice and lightly belgian with some fruity spicy notes as well as a very light citrus hop note that balances a very pleasant honeyed malt sweetness.
4
Taste is quite similar to the aroma, but with less citrus and a bit more yeasty notes with a bit of banana and some spice. Very drinkable but a bit light.
3.75
Feel is very nice and refreshing. Bigger body than standard or even craft lagers so it fits the cooler Temps that have hit recently. Finish Is pretty long and the carbonation is fine, pleseant and not overbearing.
4
Overall this is a very enjoyable crisp and refreshing blonde ale. Could be a bit bigger to earn the Belgian title, but it's still damn good, and good for almost any season except maybe the coldest months of winter.
