This beer is a very light-hued yellow, transparent, like lemon-colored water. The aroma is of Chinese hot-and-sour soup. Its slightly tangy, rather peppery flavor is unknown to me in my previous experience in beerdom. The beer is refreshing and strange. I want to gulp it down all at once. The tingling carbonation, curious spices, and pepper result in what an oenophile would term a satisfying “length.” The beer is definitely odd, but more enjoyable than my numerical rating indicates.
