Enjoyed in Mexico
Pours a medium fizzy bubbly head, medium retention, good lacing, mostly clear slight hazy golden honey pilsner color
Nose has big grainy malt, grainy sweet pilsner but a sour mash, like lacto got in, big sour Belgian character
Taste brings more sour infection, grainy sweet malt, lactic acid, funky sour and yeasty, then big bitter spicy hop finish, and astringent
Mouth is med to lighter bod, astringent finish, med higher carb
Overall it may have been a good pilsner but infection really ruined it

Poured from a 12-oz bottle to a highball glass, golden with a modest layer of head that dissipates quickly. Some effervescence. Immediately smelled a bit skunky when cracking the cap; thankfully, this fades a little as time goes on, but it's still encouraging me to sip rather than sniff. Less malodorous on the palate, with some crisp bitterness and standard pilsner notes, but no floral balance; I also am getting some malty sweetness that makes me suspect some rice or corn may have been added.
