Bottled 3/23/19, enjoyed in Mexico
Pours a fizzy darker head that fades almost instantly, touch of lacing, very dark black color
Nose a touch roasty, some dark chocolate, cocoa, a little fruity, hint of earthy hop, hint of metallic or possibly onset of souring infection
TAste more roasty malts but a little metallic and acrid getting a little bit of infection sourness, big roast, dark chocolate, a touch smokey, spicy earthy hops with med bitterness that increases to a med-high bitterness on the dry finish
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, med carb, little slick infection note
Overall OK but infection notes really get in the way of this one, the second one I've had from them that seemed infected.
