12oz pour at the brewery. Dark black color with almost no head. Moderate amount of lacing. Roasty, malty aroma with notes of citrus hops. Maybe a hint of pine. The taste is lots of roasted malts, bitter dark chocolate and citrus hops. Smokey/roasty, piney finish. Semi light mouthfeel with a small amount of carbonation. Overall, a very malty and roasty Black IPA I'd certainly buy again.
