The hue is brilliant orange; extremely cloudy; capped by a 1/2" of rocky white foam that falls quickly and leaves behind very little lacing. As much as I dig the color, I did subtract points for the lack of lace. Sue me. The smell and taste are where this beer shines. The nose is bursting with notes of bitter grapefruit, lemon zest, cherry, guava, tamarind, and the faintest wisp of pineapple. Taste follows with Christina Aguilera cherry lip gloss, guava, and copious amounts of pink grapefruit. The mouthfeel is prickly, with ample IBUs to boot. My only complaint is that it's a bit thin. If it were a tad more chewy, this beer would be even better than currently constructed. Overall, this is a very good beer worth seeking. Is it LARRRGE? Well, let's just say that it's Demi Moore from About Last Night vice Indecent Proposal. Still, the Hunter is thankful.
