The appearance was a mostly clear dark brown color with a finger’s worth of eggshell white/almost tan foamy head. Lace seemed good, somewhat sticky. The aroma had some milk chocolate sweetness up front and then some molasses/but somewhat like maple syrup. Clean caramel malts. The flavor leaned slightly to the sweet side with just a touch of roast fairly far underneath. Not much of an aftertaste. Slightly sticky in the finish, but acceptable. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sipping quality about it. Appropriate ABV. Some stickiness, but acceptable to me. Overall, fairly nicely done brown ale. I’d have again.
