Had on tap. The feel in this beer is very robust and full. Big fan of that and the appearance in dark black and foreboding. The smell featured coffee, anise, almond, dark chocolate and bitter malt. The taste had a strange dry hop/metallic finish that I just wasn't feeling went with the body and aromas. Solid beer, but has potential for greatness

Taste: Complex, big tobacco notes followed by, dark chocolate malt, hint of molasses, dry hop finish. Same with the nose. Black, opaque, large tan foam head with sticky lattice of lace on taster glass. Medium/ Full body. Finish is clean, alcohol sneaks up on you. 70 IBUs
