Woodgrain French Toast Milk Stout, 5.2% ABV. Pours black with a 3+ finger light-brown head that left light lacing. They nailed the sweet smell of french toast with syrup, including vanilla, cinnamon, egg, and maple. Taste is weaker than the smell, not much sweetness, lactose, with moderate bitterness. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding largely based on the look and smell. A bit more sweetness and/or less bitterness could have made quite a difference.
