2019 version. Served in 13oz tulip. Poured a clean, clear medium gold color with 1/4 inch of white head that had low retention but OK lacing.
The aroma featured, as expected, nice hops (although, perhaps a bit faded or subdued) with a moderate grain vase.
Pretty similar on the tongue, with a touch of alcohol added in.
The body was a bit on the full side of medium, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was very nice, once you got past the booze hit.
Overall, a very nice brew that likely would have gotten a higher score had I had it fresher. Oh well, there's always next year.
