Barrel Mountain Brewing

Have been to both of their locations, the main one in Battleground and the one in Vancouver which is more pizza and beer. Both locations are super friendly, and the food is really good. Service is also great. When we went to the Battleground location, we were there for happy hour and they had a nacho platter with salmon for about $8 which was excellent. Doubt it is still available, at least at that price. They brew a limited number of beers, but what they do is great. Off the beaten path but well worth the trip.

 

Barrel Mountain is an awesome little brewery. On the inside, everything looks like a hand-hewn wooden cabin, with a nice welcoming bar. The service is outstanding; staff greeted me as I walked in the door and the bartender introduced himself straight away. They had 9 beers on tap plus some guest cider/root beer offerings, and I was quite happy with the ones that I tried. I was particularly pleased with the stout, which is a nice, dry, roasty version of the style.

Battle Ground is a bit out of the way, but I highly recommend visiting this brewery if you are in the area.
