We all get by with a little help from our friends and we worked with one of our closest in this special double dry hopped release. This hazy blend strikes a delicate balance between old and new school hops. Pouring a golden yellow hue, this hop ale boasts juicy aromas of Meyer lemon, pear, plum with subtle hints of tangerine. The combination of Amarillo, Glacier, Waimea, and Experimental 04190 hops wraps up into one mouthwatering experience. After the first sip, you’ll understand why This Is Not a Bro Deal!

From the new batch, canned on 4/19
Pours a deep yellow, opaque with a solid white head.
Smell is bright and tropical, mango and banana along with papaya and pineapple. Actually smells remarkably like this coconut banana bread.
Taste is much sharper than the smell with unripe peach and lemon peel upfront for me. Also some guava in there. A little bit watery but not bad.
Mouthfeel is a little thin for me, not bad but it's hard to know what to expect from a 'hop ale'. This one hits more like a pale than some of the other 'hop ales' from these guys that are much more in the hazy ipa vein.
Overall this one is a little underwhelming. I also notice that this last can seems a good bit less together than the others I tried which doesn't bode well considering it's only 2 weeks old. In any case it's not a bad beer but their other offerings are better if you ask me.
