Pours the bright hazy golden amber that is typical of this series, although this one appears a shade darker than the others I recall. Nice snow white head that persists and laces well.
Smell is large and in charge, candied ginger and lemon candy dominate. Super bright, super sweet.
Taste follows the smell, lots of candied ginger, some sweetly bitter lemon peel bite, very little apparent malt. This one is the first in the series to genuinely challenge the original citra version for my palette.
Mouthfeel is crisp and smooth.
Overall it's another nice beer in the series that gives you a great window into the flavor of a particular hop. In this case it is one that I was not familiar with that brings a really huge flavor. Good beer for hop lovers (I still think the citra based original is the champ though)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
