The Booth was aiming for pineapple and they hit it spot on! The appearance, aroma, and taste all capture a tropical fruit vibe without being overbearing. Very refreshing.

Pours a very hazy/opaque and pale straw. Thin head. Not my favorite look for a brew but a recent positive experience with one with a similar look has me at ease.
Smell pops as soon as you pop the top. Sweet melon and pineapple. Cantaloupe to a degree I've never experienced in a beer before.
Taste follows suit in a remarkable and almost unsettling way. Canteloupe and honeydew dominate with a thinly bitter lemon peel in the background. Reminds of eating foreign candy, it's a totally unexpected flavor that seems a bit unreal. It's unusual but not overly unpleasant.
Mouthfeel is surprisingly thin and doesn't work with the bitter tail end of the flavor very well.
Overall this is an interesting beer and a potential revelation flavor wise from a new hop. I am not really sure how I feel about it. It's not my favorite by a stretch but sips seem to swing me from 'kinda gross' to 'oh wow this is something quite nice' . I'm not a huge melon fan, so that might be it, but it's also just a bit unusual to encounter this flavor in a beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
