August 12th, 2016 - This IPA is dank and sweaty, but also freshens itself up like Medieval royalty with a peppery quality that clumsily tries to cover for the odor. But I also smell miso, as in miso ramen broth, and it's really good, rich and deep with umami flavors. The aroma matches the flavor, with it's deep red miso taste. It's a huge recovery from the somewhat malodorous nose, and easily ranks as the best beer of the day so far.
