August 12th, 2016 - We're big fans of Bulleit in our household, and while I don't think this brew correctly grabs the spirit of the spirit, it does have a beautiful quirkiness to it. The aroma is heavy with sulphur, and reeks of fireworks, bread, olive oil and hard boiled egg. It's a glass of Glenwood Hot springs. But the flavor is even more emphatic with the sulfur. And as a big fan of hot springs - be they stateside or Japanese - it's a neat new flavor that speaks to a savory quality that's under appreciated to western palates.
