August 12th, 2016 - Black IPAs are back! Well, at least at Bear Roots. It's the appropriate color, and smells of soy sauce. I mean, it absolutely drips with shoyu and fresh paint, and coats the nostrils with a thick lacquer of umami rich smell. The flavor tastes much the same, with a barbecue porky aftertaste, and a flavor that smacks of the same profile that dry wall smells like.
