August 6th, 2016 - Plain and opaque, Kensington's Imperial Stout looks like an 8-ball on the globe chalice, free of foam on top, and ringed with just a circle of bubbles. Fresh and clean, the aroma puts out a nice, clean-cut malty aroma and the lighter scent of dirt. It's also rather clean in flavor, with more wet soil and wet coffee grounds, with a cutting, fresh bitterness. But it also isn't deep, and certainly without the strength or complexity of an imperial stout.
