Poured from a bomber into a Dogfish Head tulip. Love the puppy-themed bottle artwork
L: Cloudy dark mahogany brown pour. Scant fizzy off-white head... negligible lacing.
S: Rich and sweet. Caramel, vanilla, and booze.
T.F: Follows the nose. Sweet and boozy. Caramel and toffee... molasses and brown sugar. Vanilla/bourbon and baked raisin. Medium to thick bodied. Sticky on the tongue. Warming... boozy but not unpleasant.
O: A well-executed barrel-aged barleywine. Strikes a great balance between sweets and booze. Flavorful... an outstanding dessert sipper.
