Quite brown for a West Coast style IPA, a little low on life/head. Fairly mild aroma of tangerine, orange peel and a little peach.
Rather heavy, malty flavour...lacks the apricot hoppiness of a real West Coast IPA. Not particularly bitter. Mouth feel is a little watery, and it lacks bitterness, especially in the after taste. Maltiness is a little burnt and caramel like, not really what I would associate with the freshness, apricottyness and bitterness of a West Coast IPA.
Ok but wouldn't buy again...

33cl bottle from a friend of the brewer. Amber pour, hazy, with a white head. Smells like malt sugar, bitter hops and it has a metallic feeling. The taste is a bit oxidated, followed by some malt sugars and generic bitterness. Seems a bit stale (even though the bottle was fresh), but is quite drinkabe.

Blurry burnt orange look. Nice foam with creamy feel. Hoppy smell with grapefruit and spring flowers upfront. Also some honey and peach make it to the nose. Taste is refreshing with elderflower, passion fruit, citrus and piney feel. Aftertaste is long and very floral.
Very nice try. Makes me want some more.

Almost clear amber color with beige head. Aroma has a bit of caramel malt and some earthy hops. There's also a bit of diacetyl. Taste starts with a light maltiness but gets quickly bitter and earthy. Hop profile is very classic, english style, with a good amount of bitterness but not very aromatic. Body is medium to heavy, quite smooth and good carbonation. Not bad at all, a really decent, classic style IPA.
