Hazy, dirty gold. Modest head which leaves a few random streaks on the glass.
Dry aroma of juniper berries. My wife smells basil which I find to be very faint. Instead, I’m getting lavender. Regardless, it’s unusual and attractive.
The taste starts off with mildly toasted barley malt. The gin flavor comes through next and strongest. The finish is reminiscent of fresh crushed black peppercorns. Full bodied with ample carbonation. This is different but very beer-like, meaning it’s not weird but still special.
