Copenhagen 20/9 2022. 33 cl bottle from BulgarskMad, Ã…boulevarden, Kbh. N. Orange label with geometric figures in pale yellow and dark orange. Looks a bit like a Math book from the seventies.
Pours murky chestnut with a small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with candy. Toffee, caramel, biscuits. Sweet plum and oranges. Tart notes of unripe berries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, a bit greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a strong rough bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a modest sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is dry and boozy.
Quite unforgiving in a harsh in a bitter and austere way. I like it.
