Olhão 22/7 2016. 75 cl bottle from InterMarche. Bottle in Super Bock's usual 1927 brand design with light blue horizontal lines.
Pours hazy golden yellow with a white head. Stable. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma has a subdued malty sweetness and a little citrus sourness.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a light sweetness followed by medium strong bitterness. Slightly bitter aftertaste. A bit watery.
I expected a more pronounced bitterness from a beer bearing the name Czech Golden Lager.
