For some, fruit beers are like wine coolers-not worthy of seroius discussion. However, when well made, they can be surprisingly good. A case in point is this beer. It pours a slightly opaque dark yellow color. The smell is of apricot, and the taste also has a strong apricot component. The strong malt backing is what makes this a beer, and a darn tasty one too. The mouthfeel is rich without being overpowering. On a hot summer day, this is quite refreshing and more than one can be easily drunk. Well done!

Hazy light yellow in color, thin white head, minimal spotty lace. Smell is light sweetish wheat with a touch of apricot, not very strong but readily discernible. Taste is very light with mostly apricot coming through and some very light hops and malts. Extremely watery feel, light, and tiresome. Somewhat drinkable but nearly unfinishable.
