This beer pours a nice, dark brown with ruby hues and little to know head, though the bartender may be more to blame for that than the beer itself. The aroma is very non-descript. If it's there, I'm missing it. The taste, unfortunately, is dominated by a sour fruitiness that masks the malt flavor and leaves this beer tasting rather unpleasant. The mouthfeel is watery and lacks substance. Drinkability? Unfortunately, it's not there. The sour notes really ruin this beer, and unfortunately, I wouldn't have another.

Solid dark brown of deep varnished oak, ruby highlights, very thin off-white head that fades fast and leaves minimal spotty lace. Smell is lightly roasty malts and nuts, hazelnuts. Taste is quick and roasty sweet with some nutty & fruity notions lightly playing on the palette but ends with some medicinal, metalic tingeyness mixing with a light roasty tang in the finish. Lighter body feel, getting close to medium, more so then any other of the beers so far by this"brewmaster", but overall is stilll a watery mess, much like the rest at O'gara's brew pub. This place beats out Rock Bottom(not that Rock Bottom is that bad) but for bad brewpub beers thus far on my list the sinks right to the bottom. Stick with the Guiness on-tap while visiting this place.
