A blonde cappuccino stout! Different.
Sampled at brewery.
Nose was immediately earthy. I detect a "stone" like aroma, as in rocks. Have you ever smelled a wet rock? Yup, that's what I picked up. Not necessarily a bad characteristic, but just something I have never smelled in a beer before. Also noticed a bit of cocoa and vanilla.
Taste was nice with some pleasant cocoa chewiness. Again some vanilla. Mouthfeel was "powdery". Like you had some left over undissolved hot coco mix in the bottom of your mug that is now coating your teeth.
Overall, not bad. But I think it just needs more body to round it out....
Update! Just popped my 3 day old growler and it poured flat. No head whatsoever. I am careful making sure they are tight too. No head. Taste was there but...no head. Difficult to swallow, but not quite a drain pour. Takes an otherwise decent beer and puts it in the so-so category. Very disappointing.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
