Dirty light clear copper gold color. No head and very weak lace.

Weak caramel nose. Not much else in aroma.

Oddly lemony up front. Nice citrus finish, with a medium dry tone. Caramel lingers well afterwards.

Very light feel for an APA.

Best of the New South lot.

(From notes)

A - Fairly clear light orange-gold color; half-finger of creamy white head

S - Lightly citric and grassy hop aromas; really mellow all around

T - Decent hop presence; a little grainy; not too sweet on the malt bill. Eh

M - Thinner; very soft carbonation

D - Decent enough, but not great. Easy and relatively brainless

Overall, not a bad stab, but not really all that great. Could have used a bit more in just about every aspect.

The pale ale was served in a non-chilled pint glass. It showed a very clear golden yellow color with a 1/2" head. Very light floral aroma for a pale ale. A nice malt and hop balance was first noticed with a light bitterness that followed on tongue after swallowing. This ale seemed to remind me of a "light" version of SNPA. The head disappeared about half way through the pint, and there was very little lacing left on the glass. The carbonation was perfect, and this was a freshly tapped keg. Drinkable, but this was definitely a lighter pale ale.
