Andrew Leichthammer used to bartend at the Mule Bar in Winooski. After his stint there, and the closing of Paine Mountain Brewery in Northfield, he opened this brewery right next to Cornerstone Burger Company, which is another great beer spot in Northfield.
What I love about Good Measure is Andrew's willingness to push the boundaries of beer styles and brew them extremely well. From classic styles such as cream ales and brown ales to barrel aged saisons and stouts, this is surely a brewery anyone coming to Vermont should be checking out.

Visited a couple times in the past week; every beer I tried was exceptional. Scott is an awesome dude and the beer is top notch, cool concept with Carrier coffee roasters next door!

Brewery is in a re-purposed store front that used to be part of an IGA: distressed wood & old brick chic. A small serving bar, faces the entry door, and the side walls offer counter/ stool seating. 12 beers on tap; the 2 I tried were excellent. Brewer was doing the pouring - very friendly, informative, and accommodating. Look forward to stopping by again.

Wow... alot has changed in the last 7 years. Place has expanded into adjacent storefronts, has large L-shaped bar, dining room and sidewalk patio, 22 beers on tap, and a kitchen. Lively lunch crowd, good beer
