A rather orange-perhaps gold- color, on the pour, with muddled clarity and a short but sustaining white head of bubbles. The nose is full of hops and tropical fruit. The drinking hits smooth with tangy fruit hops upfront. A smooth flow that finishes slightly bitter. Notes of mango, grape, tangerine, and grapefruit. A moderate mouth feel that drinks fruity and dry. Rather drinkable and straight forward but some aspects come off as forced and even a bit chemically tasting at time.
Overall, this is pretty average stuff at best.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a slightly cloudy with a thick head that clings to the side of the glass.
Aroma is sweet orange candy with a slight herbal note at the end.
Taste is a balanced bitter sweet IPA.
Excellent.

Growler fill from brewery. Slightly cloudy yellowish-orange, about one finger of head that dissipates to a foamy ring, leaving behind some nice lacing. The aroma doesn't explode, but as it warms there are tropical fruits, a little bit of biscuit and malts, some pine resin if you dig deep. Hop forward, but not in an aggressive way, but the combination is a bit muddled - neither too dank or floral, but it does have a nice bitterness to it. Malt is there to keep things from going off the rails. Mouthfeel lets me down a bit - I want something fuller and softer from a brew like this. A solid beer and certainly worth checking out, but there is room for improvement.

Filled a growler from Glen Cove Beer Distributor. This IPA is excellent. Reminds me of Fair Maiden. Has that dankness and floralness you see from the VT brewers. Great to see a brewery from the north shore finally making an IPA I'd seek out again!
