First up in our Sour Batch series of beers is an incredibly tart, hoppy and refreshing wheat beer single hopped with Citra. The acidity derived from the lactobacillus pitched in the kettle combines perfectly with the fruity hops. Get ready to pucker up!

-pale yellow-tan can pour with 1/2 cm of fine effervescence. Aroma is, well, of sour lemon. The flavor is tart, but only moderately acidic; grapefruit and watermelon are noted. This is quenching and very easy to drink. The finish is a little dry and flavors persist. I hope to find this again on a hotter day.
