00-Mosaic
Garvies Point Craft Brewery

This was a surprise to find at a restaurant in Long Island because I can't find any record of it on the breweries webpage. I see they have made a 00 Citra and a 00 Galaxy but no mention of a 00 Mosaic. It was printed on the restaurant's beer list and I cannot imagine that someone would incorrectly label something "mosaic" randomly. My first Garvies Point and it was surprisingly good. Influenced by the hazy NEIPA trend, this had the familiar orange juice look to it with a large bubbled head that lingered for a while. A juicy bomb (to borrow the Sloop terminology) of aromas and tastes. Overripe tropical fruit with that pine resin flavors abound. Lots of pineapple, mango and guava evident and a nice creamy mouthfeel I'll guess attest to some malted oats that Garvies uses in their 00 Galaxy. This was a super nice beer.
