Garvies Point is on LI's north shore, near Glen Cove and Mosquito Park. Found at Malt N Mold 2nd Ave/21st St/NYC, a great home for beers and beer lovers.
My first from brewer and it's flavorful.
a) NE Haze yellow, laces lots, leaves a bilge ring all the way down.
s) Faintly of lemon, tropics.
t) Addes the cherry, hard fruit candy from the Idaho Gem Hops. Followed by earthy, herbal Rakau. Kind of a cough drop candy store meets medicine cabinet.
f) Astringent, a little sweet and mouth coating.
o) Original and any IPA that's both good and novel gets a score for me.

The tap pour is hazy and yellow, hosting a thin cap of fine, white foam and only the faintest aroma.
The flavor is similarly light with a bit of citrus noted. The finish is clean and crisp.
-There are many more flavorful offerings from this brewer.
