Volume III brewed around Thanksgiving with Carrot Cake in the Mash Tun. Sweetness is not overbearing Cinnamon, Nutmeg and honey on the front and nose and Carrot Cake (apparently form DiMare, a local well respected pastry shop) on the finish with a lot of resinous dark chocolate that's not overtly sweet. No coffee on this one and alcohol is well masked yet its clearly built on MIke and Patrick's taste for the unique brews with amazing mouthfeel. Its what sets Lock City apart from other CT brewers into a class all its own.
