Standard brown half liter bottle with a red, orange and yellow label featuring the bottom of a keg and a bearded guy holding a beer mug. Unpasteurized. Ingredients conform to the purity law. Best before 4/26/04, I opened it on 3/8/04.
Pours a standard clear gold horse piss color under a three finger soapy white head that quickly fades to film leaving no lace. The nose is corn and metallic hops. The mouth is very prickly, slightly sour, and syrupy. The taste is standard macro - rice and corn with musty bread overtones. No hops. The aftertaste just sits like a mothball at the back of the throat. Drain.
