750ml bottle poured into a snifter bottled in August 2017.
A: A slightly hazy amber light orange body. The head is huge chunky and white. It just sits atop the beer.
S: lots of chia spices and hints of basil but that’s about it.
T: a lot of chia spices and a lot of basil with a lingering basil chai taste.
M: lowish carbonation almost like the beer was poured flat. Fairly dry finish to it as well.
O: The beer is definitely what it says the Thai basil is there in spades, but the beer tastes muddled. It doesn’t finish clean the carbonation is odd and the more you drink of it the less you like it.
