Very slightly hazy light amber color with a modest and quick disappearing white head.
The aroma is coffee, caramel and fresh baked cake.
The taste is somewhat sweet - caramel, maple, white cake and coffee, mild coffee bitterness.
The body is medium, moderate carbonation, creamy smooth and very drinkable.
Altogether, this is peculiar for my concept of a stout, a bit sweet, but tasty and interesting with a well hidden ABV, while this might not be an everyday drink for me, I would definitely enjoy it on occasion, after dinner or on a cool evening anytime.

On tap at Dark Sky Brewing in Flagstaff, AZ.
This one pours a light and slightly dull amber color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like caramel, sugar cookie, molasses, maple, and sweet flavored coffee.
Like most golden stouts, this doesn’t really actually taste like a stout. This is pretty decent stuff anyway, but it’s definitely on the sweeter side. There’s maple, caramel, molasses, that sort of thing, with a sweet coffee component to it.
This is creamy, with no boozy tastes, and pretty drinkable.
Although this is definitely a bit sweet, it’s still an enjoyable pour. Worth trying at least once!
