Pours a brownish black with a finger and a half of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Aroma of chocolate and smokey molasses. Taste follows nose.

L: Pours a brownish black with a small foamy tan head and nice lacing around the glass.

S: A smokey meat hits the nose followed by toasted wheat, some ash and a hint of chocolate. Smells like an inviting Schwarsbier.

T: Smokey with some oak and smoked meat, followed by some toasted almost blackened bread, a hint of ash and a slight chocolate. A fairly strong bitterness at the smooth.

F: Smooth and creamy mouthfeel.

O: A enjoyable Schwarsbier.
