Sabbath of the Undead is a complex, light ABV, Brown Ale fermented in Willett Whiskey barrels. An easy drinking brew with notes of roasted malts, vanilla, and a light woody finish.

This one pours a dark-ish brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like warm toasted bread, pumpernickel, rye, vanilla, toffee, and caramel.

There’s not any real bourbon character from the barrel-fermenting, but the it seems to have given this low ABV beer a lush body and creaminess. There’s some vanilla and maybe a touch of oak spice, though. This is just so full-flavored for something that’s only 3.5% - such a rich malty treat.

This is creamy and rich, with a great mouthfeel to it.

This is one of the coolest beers that I’ve had in a little bit now.
