Pours black, some translucency at top of the beer, with mocha head and nice lacing left on the sides of the glass. Aroma of dark roasted malts, some chocolate hiding in there, and a little earthy bitterness from some hops. Reads better than it smells. Tastes follows suit. Creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, meh. Nothing offensive but comes off amateurish.
