The beer is a hazy burnt orange color under a foamy sudsy cream cap. Random patches of foamy lacing persist.
Smells very woody, spicy, but ultimately citrusy and vibrant. Think orange zest and fresh wood.
Tastes like the aroma: Cedar and orange flesh. Enough fruitiness to offset the wood/pine/hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium and dry.
Overall, huge citrus and wood elements., especially orange zest in the finish.
