On tap. Poured out a clear, amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of roasted malt, pine and toffee. Very malty and pine with a hint of citrus.

Poured into a Lagunitas large mouth glass.
Look: Very burnt orange body with a thick foamy off-white Head. Nice thick horizontal bands of lacing.
Aroma: Lots of caramel sweetness, barley, grains, and general maltiness.
Taste: Sweet melted caramel comes to mind immediately with a finish of slight bitterness and citrus rind, creating a balance somewhat. Somewhat woody without overdoing it.
Mouthfeel: Not heavy but certainly above the medium bodied thickness.
Overall: The amount of sweetness makes this softer and very easy to drink. Not really a hop bomb in that manner, but enough bitterness in the finish to balance the malts.
