Poured into a shaker pint glass.
The beer is the color of dark cola with a light khaki head that recedes to nothing but a thin collar, no lacing.
The aroma is of dark chocolate, roasted, charred malts, raisins, and oat flakes.
The taste mimics the aroma with chocolate notes being on the sweeter side, followed by hearty oats and a bitter, charred finish.
Mouthfeel is light, way too thin.
Overall, a bit too thin but otherwise nice chocolate notes and enough oats to taste to style.
