Sainte Nitouche - Triple (Blond Beer)
Pours a light amber with copious white head and light effervescence.
Smells of caramel, banana and tropical esters, some wine like notes.
Taste is sweet malts forward, biscuity, citrus, vanilla and bitter sweet finish.
Medium bodied, copious effervescence with adequate astringency to keep it from becoming cloying.
Tasty tripel from a brewery I wasn't familiar with - I look forward to trying their other offerings. . .
