From the can, it pours a lightly hazy yellow color with a vigorous white head. Lacing. The nose gets a grainy scent with a whiff of grassy hops. In the mouth, it is a crisp, refreshing, light malt flavor with some light hop flavor (lemon).
It reminds me of a German saying: "Wer Restet, der Rostet" "Who rests, rusts"

Sampling a cold 12 oz can poured into my mug. Picked up the beer curbside at the Beeracks about 1 week ago. cant come close to reading the date stamp on bottom of can.
the beer pours a mostly clear golden color with some light copper hints to the beer. A few extremely lazy streams of carbonation rise to the surface and there appears to be a little bit of suspended sediment.
The bleached white fluffy head of 1 cm fades slowly after the pour and is a strong surface layer throughout my sampling.
This foam creates windowpane lattice during each sip I take.
Aroma is cracker and biscuity malt notes, maybe cereal too, with some mixed in hops of grassy character and a little lemon note too. Mild but interesting nose.
First sip reveals a light crisp body, been typing that a lot with these pilsner reviews! Carbonation isnt visible, but it is very tingly on my palate and builds if I swish the beer in my mouth. Another easy drinking smooth textured beer.
Flavor is biscuity up front and then some straw and again a good hit of lemon. This flavor lingers after the swallow and this finish is much less dry than the other pilsners Ive had in the past 36 hours. Pretty solid brew and glad I have a few more in the fridge.
