Had on tap. Opaque almost chalky looking dark pink pour with dirty pink head, not the prettiest. Smell and taste are the same with the fruit they bring: huge blueberry, strawberry, green apple and cranberry. Smell has cereal like smell to pair, taste has vanilla pudding. It is kind of odd but not bad all together. Feel is thick and creamy, decently cool, but it is so sugary that cloys. Not my cup of... tea

Where a standard single dose of fruit is usually good enough, when Front Porch Brewing collaborates with Skygazer, they're thinking that more is needed. Doubly loaded with blueberries and strawberries, their boba tea inspired ale is a double shot of everything that's loved in the regular Boba Bliss varieties.

Plopping into the glass, the beer quickly stains the sides of the tulip with a muddy mauve and creamy coat. with an clumping froth rising like a caldern of ooze, A tantalizing scent of dense and dank berries greet the nose with condensed fruit puree, cider, white wine and candy. Similarly to taste, the early palate is packed with the sweetness of seemingly taffy, smoothie, cereal and poundcake.

With the creamy sweetness of vanilla and cream joining the candied sweetness, the middle palate stews with those smoothie-like flavors on the middle palate. Where blueberries and strawberries lead with their unique character, the beer also shares a fruitiness of green apple, lemon, lime, gooseberry, white grape and rhubarb. Trending tart and brisk with acidity, the late palate shows a tendency to dry out but its creamy sweetness wins out in the end.

Full bodied, creamy and carrying a milkshake consistency, the sourness that develops isn't enough to dry the beer completely while it leaves a candied sweetness clinging to the tongue. Plump and juicy with a bold fruit display, the beer somehow remains muted with the berry character and never develops the full intensity in flavor that's expected.
