On tap at the brewery - pours from the growler a clear copper color with a 1 finger tan cap....demure aromas - grassy-spicy hops with a toasty malt undertone.....well rounded character, silken mouth feel...flavor has a good chew of toasty malts in front then spicey-woody bittering floods the palate...long wet finish where malts give way to a dry bittering....Altbier is one of my favorite brews and this one is great...true to style, fresh, robust and pleasing

Pours a nice caramel colour but headless. Nice sweet and malty smell. The taste is a little on the mild side but the usual characteristics of an alt over are present but muted. Kind of a flat mouthfeel
