growler fresh from the brewery - pours a hazy amber-gold with a creamy 2 finger off-white cap that reduces to a surface lace...aromas of malts, spices, light smoked tones...medium bodied, dry spicey character, sharp bite from chili and hops....flavor has a light complexity where spices, smoked malts and bittering hops create a mélange on the palate....goes dry and spicy-bitter in the finish...I'm impressed, I thought this would be a "kitchen sink" kind of brew but it is both unique, flavorful and satisfying.
