Had on tap. Opaque cloudy medium to dark brown ombre body, two fingers of beige head. Taste is an explosion of flavror: dark fruit, plum and fig especially, licorice, candi sugar, belgian yeast, with supporting honey, hay, dry earth, surprising complex and rustic. Why this is a surprise is the smell is so docile in comparison with mild dark malt and fruit serving the yeast. Feel is a little thin and not as refined as the belgians do, but the yeast rises over the malt backbone correctly. The wife liked it.
